Much like with the Internet, it is difficult to predict exactly how the fifth generation of mobile networks will be used. Along with better mobile broadband, the technology allows for new areas of use for both private firms and the public sector, like industry 4.0, smart cities, emergency communication, and health.
The introduction of 5G in Norway also raises questions concerning business and industry policies, security, regional policies and net neutrality.
